COURSE OVERVIEW
Please read through this course overview so you are better prepared for our NRA Pistol Permit Course.
CLASSROOM TIME
The first section of this course is focused on firearms safety and proper range etiquette. This information is taught by our pistol permit instructor who uses hands-on lessons and real world experience from his Military and Law Enforcement background. During this part of the course you will receive a small informative booklet (this will be returned at the end of the course), followed by a short, open book, test.
RANGE TIME
Once you have finished the test, it is time to have some fun at the range! While you are at the range, you will have the opportunity to shoot a Semi-Automatic Pistol and a single/double action Revolver. This will be done with the guidance of our NRA Instructor who will make sure you are handling the firearm safely and responsibly.
THE CERTIFICATE
Once you have completed the course, you will receive the NRA’s Certificate Of Completion. The certificate of completion will be issued by our Instructor 1 to 3 days after the course has ended. The instructor will send your certificate by email unless you request differently.
